Correction

Last week’s Lake County Banner carried a n article about the local election that was held on Aug. 4. That story contained errors that we are happy to correct.
Mallory Berry defeated incumbent Tammie S. Hopper by 18 votes. The Banner incorrectly reported the margin to be 17 votes.
In the District 3 School Board race, Jimmy Dale Snyder and John F. Cochran were both elected to represent the district.
In the District 3 County Commission race Danny Louis Tippit name was mispelled .
Crystie Horner ran unopposed for the County Clerk’s position and received 1,392 votes. This was omitted from the original article.
