Yum Yum Sweet Potatoes
3 cups. mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
1 Tbsp. Vanilla flavoring
2 eggs
½ tsp. Nutmeg
½ tsp. Cinnamon
TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar, packeud
1 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup butter
Mix all ingredients, except
topping ingredients. Pour into
buttered casserole dish. Mix
topping with fork and sprinkle
crumbs on top of Casserole.
Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

Cranberry Yams
2 ½ cups cooked yams
Dash of Salt
1 (1lb.) can Cranberry Sauce
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Orange Rind
1 Tbsp. Melted Butter
2 Tbsp. Nutmeats
Fill a greased Casserole dish
with seasoned mashed yams
or sweet potatoes (canned are
perfect). Combine sauce, brown
sugar, orange rind and melted
butter and spoon over top of
potatoes. Top with Nutmeats.
Bake in a moderate oven at
350° for about 25 – 30 minutes.

Yeast Rolls
4 cups self rising flour
1 pkg. Dry yeast
½ cup sugar (or less)
¾ cup melted Crisco, cooled
1 Egg
2 cups lukewarm water
Mix flour, yeast and sugar. Add
melted cooled Crisco, egg and
water. Bake in greased muffin
tin at 425° for 15 minutes.
