Pecan Pie

1 – 10” uncooked pie crust
3 whole eggs
1 scant cup sugar
1 scant cup white Karo Syrup
1 cup pecans broken up
1 stick margarine
Put pecans in uncooked pie crust.
Beat the eggs well, add the Karo then the
sugar then the margarine
Put on stove and stir until the margarine melts
add teaspoon vanilla extract
Pour over pecans in uncooked pie shell
Bake at 400° until crust is brown then turn ov
en to 350° until pie is firm. Maybe 30. minutes.

Mississippi Mud Cake

1 c. Wesson oil
1 ¾ c. Sugar
1 1 ½ c. self rising flour
4 eggs
3 tsp. Vanilla
Mix ingredients well. Pour in 9×13 inch pan.
Bake at 325° for 30 – 40 minutes.
Spread 1 jar of Marshmallow Crème on
top of cake as it is removed from oven.
Icing
1 box powdered sugar
1/3 c. Cocoa
1 ½ sticks oleo
¼ c. Pet Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Mix together. Pour over top
of Marshmallow Crème. Cut into squares.
