The City of Ridgely Mayor and Aldermen Board met in a special called meeting on Sept. 13, 2022. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the hiring of a part-time certified water plant operator.
Board members were presented with two options. The first was to hire Kent Robertson, who is certified as a water plant operator or to hire a contractor to fill the position.
After discussion Alderman Nancy Crane motioned to hire Kent Robertson. The board approved the hiring of Robertson.
