Pumpkin Bread
3 ½ cup plain Flour
2 tsp. Soda
1 ½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Nutmeg
3 cups Sugar
1 cup Wesson oil
4 Eggs
2 cups Pumpkin, cooked
2/3 cup water
½ cup Walnuts
Sift dry ingredients and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into dry ingredients. Grease and flour 4 small coffee cans and fill ½ full.
BAKE 1 hour at 350°
Sweet Potato Pie
1 (1 lb.) Can sweet potatoes
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Pet Milk
½ cup Butter or Oleo
3 Eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Vanilla
Mix and pour into pie shells.
BAKE at 309° for 35 – 40 minutes.
