Strand to celebrate Motown

There “ain’t no mountain high enough or valley low enough” to keep us away from the Strand Theater Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the music of Motown. The popular group “Blue Eyed Soul” will bring their performance to Tiptonville to entertain the audience of music lovers of all ages.
There’s a lot of room to dance or start your own “Soul Train”. What a night of fun for the folks who love this genre of music.
Admission price is $10 and will benefit the restoration work being done on the Strand. There are not many small communities who still have their theaters and it’s important to help save the history of the small town movie venues where so many from the past got together and went to see the latest from Hollywood.
