Tiptonville Main Street will be celebrating October with a “Good Witches Luncheon” Friday, October 28th beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Main Street Center. Make plans to come and dine with us and take in the atmosphere while there. It will be a great time, with delicious food and friendly conversation.
You may also have a carry out plate but think of the fun you can have visiting with neighbors while there. You never know who you might see — perhaps the Sanderson Sisters could be lurking around causing a little “Hocus Pocus”. Fall and Holloween will be everywhere putting you in a “Trick or Treat” frame of mind. There will be plenty of parking on the streets as the Good Witches will park their brooms in the back. Plates will be $10, which includes a beverage. The girls look forward to seeing you.
On Saturday, October 29th beginning at 5:30, Tiptonville Main Street and Tiptonville Fire Department will host a night of downtown fun. There will be ghost and goblins roaming in the darkness among those celebrating Halloween. Put on your favorite costume and join in the fun. There will be jump games, trick or treating and the perpetual “Haunted Hayride”.
It will be a magical time, the one night in the year when reality and illusion come together.
There will be food served at the Main Street Center consisting of chili, chili dogs and howl-o-weenies along with a drink.
So, don’t fix supper, just come and eat before the shenanigans begin. Watch the Lake County Banner and Facebook for more details to follow.
