Walk Across TN is a team based program that lasts 6 weeks starting Oct. 11 through Nov. 17, 2022.
Teams of eight people are encouraged to accumulate walking miles to virtually travel across TN (approx. 500 miles).
Team members do not have to walk together.
Anyone can join the walk.
Team captain meeting via Microsoft Teams will be held on Oct. 10.

Walk Objectives
Walk Across Tennessee is designed to increase the daily physical activity of Tennesseans. The Program Objectives are:
- Improve Health and Wellness
- To develop a more physically active life to help Tennesseans
protect physical and emotional health. - Prevent or Manage Health Conditions
- To develop a more physically active life to help Tennesseans
manage illnesses and chronic diseases. - Control Weight
- To decrease the overweight and obesity trends present
across the state.
