Kobe Hodoe’s Southern Snow Cream

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 7 – 8 cups CLEAN, fresh Snow (NOT YELLOW)
  • Sprinkles and chocolate syrup (optional)

Directions

  • Combine the first 3 ingredients
  • Gather clean, fresh Snow in a large bowl.
  • Pour milk mixture over the Snow. Mix well.
  • If desired drizzle Syrup over mixture
  • Add sprinkles
  • Serve ASAP before it melts

Amelia Lanier’s Famous Mac and Cheese

3 Ingredient
Mac & Cheese

  • 16oz elbow macaroni noodles
  • 32oz block of Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 ½ cup milk

Boil noodles, cut Velveeta cheese into cubes while noodles are cooking, drain noodles. Return noodles to stove on low heat and add milk. Stir continuously while dropping in Velveeta cubes. Keep stirring until all Velveeta cubes are melted. That’s it!

If you notice the mac and cheese is too hard to stir or too thick, add ½ cup of milk until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat and enjoy!
