On January 12, 2023, during Ridgely Mayor and Alderman Board monthly meeting, one Alderman seat was empty.  Bubba Henson resigned his seat on the Ridgely Board of Alderman due to health issues.  Thank you, Mr. Henson for your time served as Ridgely Alderman.  We wish you well in regard to your health.

The Ridgely Alderman were left with filling this vacant seat with someone they felt would serve Ridgely and always make choices that would improve the life of Ridgely residents.

Renee Bledsoe was chosen because she had served as Alderman previously and had shown those qualities.

Ridgely Attorney, Matt Willis swore Mrs. Bledsoe into office after the reading of Mr. Henson’s resignation and acceptance from the Board.    After taking her oath, Renee took her seat with the Board Members for the January monthly meeting to begin.
