Joanne Calhoun 1935-2022

Mrs. Joanne Calhoun, 87, passed away December 1, 2022 Mrs. Calhoun was born on May 8th 1935 in Obion county.
The daughter of B.E. And Helen (Grooms) Brown. She married Wilton “Dale” Calhoun. She retired as a secretary at Margret Newton Elementary school and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville, TN.
She is survived by one daughter in-law Ann Calhoun, five grandchildren, Robert Vaughn of Tiptonville, Donnie Owens of Tiptonville, Niki Calhoun (Loren Sowell) of Martin, Kelley Morgan (John) of Manila AR and Hunter Calhoun (Allye) of Tiptonville. 6 great grandchildren, George Robert Vaughn of Tiptonville, Cruz and Vivian Sowell of Martin, Maggie and Everleigh Morgan of Manila AR, and Baby Boy Calhoun on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Calhoun, two children Billy “Doc” Calhoun and Teresa Cantrell, two brothers Buck Brown and George Brown, and a sister Mozelle Lovett.
