INTENT TO APPLY FOR CDBG 2026
A public meeting will be held on January 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The public is urged to attend this meeting, which will be held at:
Tiptonville City Hall
130 Court Street, Council Room
Tiptonville, TN 38079
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss City of Tiptonville's intent to submit application for a FY2026 Community Development Block Grant, to identify community needs and to explore the use of CDBG funds to address those needs.

NOTICE TO BID
The Northwest Tennessee Development District office is administering a housing rehabilitation project for the City of Ridgely. This program is provided through the HOME program by the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA). We are seeking licensed contractors interested in bidding on approximately 7 rehabilitation/reconstruction projects.
If you are interested, please reach out to the NWTDD’s office for an application. Make sure you include copies of all the following with the completed application:
✔ Provide W-9
✔ Provide proof of Contractor’s Public Liability insurance ($100,000)
✔ Provide proof of Property Damage Insurance ($100,000)
✔ Provide proof of workman’s compensation
✔ Copy of current licenses, as applicable
✔ A completed application “Qualifications of the General Contractor.”
Applications along with the required documentation will need to be turned in to the City or to the NWTDD office by: Thursday, January 27th, 2026. Once you have submitted all required documentation and your application is approved, you will be added to our Qualified Contractor Listing.
Being on this list ensures you are part of our procurement network. Our office will contact you directly regarding upcoming opportunities and provide specific notification of all relevant bid deadlines.
