Local Senior Center Celebrates National Bean Day

Great food that was amazing by our own cook, Vickie. Turkey and dressing, gravy, white beans, cornbread, tomatoes and cucumbers, sliced onions, corn and cranberry sauce. Strawberry cake for dessert.

The Ridgely Senior Center celebrated National Bean Day last week. Made possible by our family Bonnie
Stoneburner and Candy Williams for cooking large pots of beans. Martha Bryant and Wilma Stone for cornbread, Frankie Sharp for fresh garden Tomatoes. We also had fried bologna. The dessert was triple chocolate cake with warm Caramel and melted chocolate chips in the middle with walnuts a special from Charlie Wiliams.
