On October 22, a man was robbed at gunpoint by two juveniles ages 16 and 17 years old. The two juveniles approached the man on Miller Street in Ridgely. The man was delivering food and when he came out of the apartment two teens approached him and demanded that the man give them everything he had.
Following the incident law enforcement officers were able to identify the suspects involved. Upon further investigation, police authorities discovered firearms and drugs in connection with the robbery.
Further investigation has led to two search warrants where several guns, ammunition, and two pounds of marijuana were found at the residence. The two teenagers were charged with aggravated robbery, and possession of marijuana. Unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Law enforcement officials are actively pursuing the suspects involved in the robbery. The recovered firearms and drugs have been secured as evidence for further examination and processing as part of the ongoing investigation.
