“The Lake County Youth Sports Foundation set the goal of getting our Pee Wee Football Team new jerseys on Sept. 1. We had no funding and no support and thought the generous support of friends and family for start up money, we were able to fundraise twice! We sold wristbands and had a very successful community cookout. The day after the cookout, we had raised enough money to order 60 sets of matching jerseys and pants for out team for the 2023 season! Three weeks later and here we are! Thanks to the community for supporting the foundation and our goals of providing a better future for our kids here in Lake County” said Justin Chen, a member of the foundation.
